Organization, the best starting point!

So part of the first weeks assignment into the second week was to begin organization of the semester. A great way to organize anything, as minor as a shopping list to as detailed and exhaustive as a portfolio seminar class, is by using a Mindmap. This is a new concept to me, but being one who thrives on organization and one who takes pride in the subject, a new way to organize is like a present on Christmas.

Below are versions of my Mindmap. The first one (a little hard to read) has text from which I started with in inDesign. This text holds what I felt should initially be included in my Mindmap for the semester. These are things that will be included in the portfolio and taken into consideration when in an interview. As you can see with many scribbles and chicken-scratch formed words, changes would be expected to be made. Some of these changes are peer, professor and personally inspired. All of which define my passion and skill for creativity and design.

Now once all of these scribbles have been recreated professionally... I have this...

I could've chosen to use a template but I decided to have some fun in creating my own.
