Forming My Identity

"YOU NOW HAVE TO DECIDE WHAT IMAGE YOU WANT FOR YOUR BRAND. IMAGE MEANS PERSONALITY." - David Ogilvy.

This quote taken from No Plastic Sleeves, has enunciated the importance of creating a logo that represents me. Despite being told that initials for a logo are cliche and not worthy for some reason thinking of my identity, my initials are what first come to mind. Once reading this quote, I have come to realize that my logo can be based upon my personality and the safety of a "K", "P" or "C" can be let go. The opportunities are endless once again! Forming the logo definitely has to be a creative project!

I decided to take sometime over the course of a week to sketch any random images that came to my mind that represented me. Some of these images have so much to do with my personality and interests that they wouldn't make sense to anyone else but me! I guess that is what makes them my personal identity, my brand.

Below are the first sketches of my logos. I started with the two bows in the bottom left. I have drawn many bows in my past through doodles and even some art work so I decided to start there to get my process flowing. There are a total of 27 images here, some very weak and some very strong but all very  unique.

Now thinking more of what is strongest and what I would truly want as my identity, these are the images I chose...
